At The Élisabeth Foundation, our work is rooted in compassion and driven by a powerful mission: to deliver life-saving care, restore dignity, and inspire hope for African women and children affected by cancer and endometriosis. These are not merely health conditions—they are silent, devastating crises that rob families of mothers, daughters, and futures. In regions where healthcare is either inaccessible or unaffordable, the impact is especially profound.
We refuse to accept a world where pain goes untreated, voices go unheard, and lives are lost simply due to a lack of resources. That’s why we’ve built our approach around four core pillars that create sustainable, community-based change—one patient, one family, one community at a time.

Our Key Pillars
Our work focuses on four key pillars that together create lasting impact:
Medical Support
We fund essential medical treatments including surgeries, diagnostics, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and medications. We ensure that women and children who cannot afford care receive the treatment they need to survive and recover.
Awareness & Education
Too many suffer in silence because they don’t know the signs or believe help exists. We run outreach campaigns, school and community workshops, and training for healthcare workers to promote early detection and break the stigma around cancer and endometriosis.
Psychosocial Support
Illness affects more than the body—it challenges the spirit. We stand by families through every stage of their journey with counseling, emotional support, and help with transportation, meals, and housing during treatment.
Strengthening Local Healthcare
We build long-term capacity by training healthcare providers, donating equipment, and partnering with local clinics and hospitals. Our goal is to leave behind stronger systems that can serve communities for years to come.
